Written and directed by Sam Walker, The Seed revolves around a weekend away in the Mojave desert that quickly turns into a sci-fi nightmare.

For the score, Dalt used pieces of metal alongside tape loops, and synths.

“I wanted to play with the feeling of multiple paces in it, a voice pulse that keeps us grounded in the subjectivities of the women who are losing their sanity, a synth line that places us in the sci-fi side of the film,” she explains.

Marking Dal’s debut score, it follows her contributions to Elena Colombi’s Donne Che Corrono Coi Lupi compilation.
