“Fusing South American rhythms with avant psych rock, dub minimalism and spiked jazz.”

Colombian instrumental group Los Pirañas will release new LP, Historia Natural, this October via Glitterbeat.

Los Pirañas are an instrumental group featuring three musicians from across the country’s musical landscape: Eblis Alvarez of Meridian Brothers and Chúpame el dedo, Mario Galeano of Frente Cumbiero and Ondatropica and Pedro Ojeda of Romperayo and Chúpame el dedo.

Having met at school as teenagers in Bogotá, before cutting their teeth in various bands, Los Pirañas debuted as a collective ten years ago with a self-titled LP, followed by their second release La Diversión Que Hacía Falta En Mi País in 2017.
