With the need for social distancing likely to continue in the coming months, Jazz Café is raising money in order to cover the cost of rent.

“Since closing due to the pandemic, we’ve had absolutely no income. … We have received no rent relief from our landlord and we do not qualify for a government grant,” shares the venue.

“Somewhere on the horizon live music will return, but without your help, The Jazz Cafe may not be a part of it.”

At the time of writing, the project has raised over £43,000 of its £93,000 goal, with almost 700 hundred donors.
