Eddie Peake reveals second release on new label HYMN in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory.

Following the release of Gwilym Gold’s ‘Muscle’ earlier this year, artist Eddie Peake has unveiled the second single on HYMN. Continuing on the ‘pointedly eclectic’ path he set out for HYMN in the summer, ‘Death Drive’ will showcase his no-holds-barred party outfit Anal House Meltdown.

Where Gold’s single revelled in introversion, ‘Death Drive’ is all exhibitionism, an upfront club banger powered by a relentless acid bass line and carnal whoops and hollers, straight out of the underground ballrooms of NYC.

With the original extended version planned for release early next year, Peake has shared an edit of the track made especially for the Anal House Meltdown x The Vinyl Factory Frieze party at Hoi Polloi last month, which you can listen to below now:

Co-written, produced and engineered by Tim Goalen, ‘Death Drive’ will also be accompanied by a new video, itself as crucial to the label’s identity as the music. If it’s anything like the video for ‘Muscle‘, we can’t wait to see it.
