The classic album gets a 2017 update.

Jamaican dub legend Lee “Scratch” Perry has remade his Black Ark studios album Super Ape with touring band Sub Atomic Sound System for new version Super Ape Returns to Conquer.

Released by Echo Beach, the new album was inspired by Perry’s recent worldwide tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Super Ape.

The Super Ape Returns to Conquer vinyl limited to 999 copies, also comes with a free CD.
