Available on red vinyl, the LP will feature a white sleeve that resembles the original cover concept of Unknown Pleasures.
According to the band, “while the album’s black sleeve has become one of the most iconic designs in popular music history, the original design was supposed to be white-with-black accents.”
Joy Division and art director Peter Saville have also collaborated with East London shop Goodhood on a collection that features the cover illustration on various items of clothing, homeware and accessories.
Unknown Pleasures limited vinyl edition will be available from 14th June online and in-store at Goodhood, with the capsule collection on-sale from the 27th June.
