Like the L100, the L82 features an identical, one-inch titanium tweeter as well as frequency adjusting tuning knobs, with quadrex foam grills in three colour ways – blue, black and orange.
Diverging from the L100, the L82 comes as a mirrored pair, measuring 19 inches x 11 inches x 11 inches with a weight of 12.7 kg – each of which has an eight-inch cone woofer.
Available in April 2020, it follows JBL’s release of an updated version of the L100, which was our favourite high-end speaker last year.
Like the L100, which runs for £3,999, the L82 doesn’t come cheap at £2000, though it clocks in at half the price of its big sister.
