James Blake’s new album Playing Robots Into Heaven is set for vinyl

Blake makes a return to his club roots.

James Blake will release a new album this September via Polydor.

Blake’s fifth album Playing Robots Into Heaven will see him “return to the electronic roots of his Hessle, Hemlock and R&S records days”. It follows his 2021 album, the introspective Friends That Break Your Heart.

Playing Robots Into Heaven is available to pre-order on black or crystal clear vinyl ahead of its September 8 release.
