With sessions from Jayda G, Taahliah, Jytoy, Karen Harding, and more.

Jaguar’s Future1000 scheme has partnered with Pirate Studios to offer DJ workshops, and 1,000 hours of free rehearsal space for female, trans, and non-binary students.

Unveiled earlier this year, Jaguar launched Future1000 with in-school music education platform FutureDJs to help underrepresented figures in music — specifically young women, trans, and non-binary people — get experience within the industry.

The new partnership with Future1000 will see 1,000 hours of free studio time made available, with students also encouraged to submit their own mix to earn the chance to have a DJ set at a Ministry of Sound Records event.

DJs and producers including Jayda G, TAAHLIAH, and Jyoty will also be hosting a series of free monthly workshops offering insight into production, radio presenting, and DJing.

The Future1000 scheme is still currently recruiting, and will run until December 2020.
