With a performance space, token-operated sound booth to create your own records, lathe, and exclusive merch.

As Third Man Records opened in London – complete with a rooftop performance by owner Jack White – we took a look around to see what the city’s latest record shop has on offer.

Designed by White himself, the store contains a live venue called ‘The Blue Basement’, a ‘lucky dip’ book vending machine, and a token-operated sound booth from the 1950s where you can create your own record cut direct-to-disc as you perform.

It also features vinyl from from Third Man’s catalogue, as well as contributions from Motown Records, and exclusive editions, plus White Stripes-era clothing.
