Producer and DJ Claude Young has released the final instalment of his five-part turntabilism web series for Reverb, talking you through the ‘upside down reverse’ record technique.

The show follows his pro-tips on marking records, basic mixing/queueing, gain staging, and balancing your tonearm.

To do the trick you’ll need a record, a spool of thread, a cigarette and a filter; your tonearm will also need to be balanced in the opposite direction as per Young’s instructions.
