Featuring 103 compositions.
Ennio Morricone and Bruno Nicola’s library music project Dimensioni Sonore – Musiche Per L’Immagine E L’immaginazione is being reissued by Dialogo this October.
Originally released by RCA in 1972 as part of Morricone and Nicola’s Catalogo Di Musiche Per Sonorizzazioni, the 103 scores range from “cerebral jazzy numbers to avant-garde abstractions,” shares Dialogo.
Throughout, the project “showcases the state of the art of Library Music in Italy during the early ‘70s, as well as an original rumination on one possible way to begin to map their interrelations.”
Remastered from the analogue master tapes, Dimensioni Sonore – Musiche Per L’Immagine E L’immaginazione will be available as 10 individual LPs as well as a 10xLP box set.
Pre-order a copy of the box set here in advance of its 30th October release.
