ELAC launches Miracord 80 turntable

A high-end turntable from the German manufacturer.

ELAC has launched its Miracord 80 turntable, first previewed at High End Munich earlier this year.

The turntable, which has a 10-inch carbon fibre tonearm and solid wooden plinth, will be available in gloss white, black or walnut veneer. Featuring a 5.6kg steel platter and a PID servo-controlled DC motor, this is a strong high-end entry from ELAC.

The Miracord 80 retails at £2199 with a D96 cartridge or £1999 without. You can also purchase an optional lid for £199.
