Meditative compositions to soothe the mind.

Claire Rousay is releasing a new album, called everything perfect is already here, via Shelter Press this April.

Across the record, Rousay weaves together samples and field recordings alongside contributions from Alex Cunningham on violin, Mari Maurice on electronics and violin, Marilu Donovan on harp, and Theodore Cale Schafer on piano.

“It becomes clear as we trace Rousay’s collaged sonic pathway that breakdown, of meaning and also of melody, is also a place to rest,” explains the label.
