With a catalogue spanning from hip-hop to country via pop and show tunes.

Brooklyn’s Central Library has opened its own vinyl library.

Available to all card-carrying members, the collection features 400 albums covering a range of genres, including country, pop, hip-hop, classical, and show tunes.

Records featured include Television’s Marquee Moon, Patti Smith’s Horses, Jay-Z’s In My lifetime. Vol. 1, and Lady Gaga’s Chromatica.

Albums are available to listen to in the library, and can also be checked out for up to three weeks.

The library will also host programmes covering audio production, music coding, and DJing, for those who want to bolster their music skills.
