Art Of Sound is a new series of events set to take place at The Royal Academy of Arts, featuring a line-up of DJs digging into the more obscure corners of their personal record collections.

Beginning with an evening with Bill Brewster, the series will take place in the auspicious, art-decked Academicians’ Room and profile a cross-section of the capital’s most exciting selectors.

These include producer and DJ Auntie Flo, Melodies International’s Mafalda, BBE-affiliate Sophie Callis, John Gomez (whose Outro Tempo comp of Brazilian electronics is one of 2017’s best) and Zaf from Hoxton record shop Love Vinyl. It will also feature VF editor Anton Spice alongside Max Lutos, creative director of playlisting platform Open Ear Music.
