An interactive moon walk.

British artist Antony Gormley and astrophysicist Dr. Priyamvada Natarajan will exhibit their cosmic virtual reality collaboration Lunatick at The Store X, 180 The Strand this April.

Presented by Acute Art and The Store X, Lunatick uses NASA data to map an interstellar journey from Earth to the surface of the moon, and into outer space, recreating the sensation of weightlessness in order to provide a haptic experience of the cosmos.

“My work has always tried to explore the dialectic between the body as an object in space and the body as a place containing the infinitude of space,” Gormley explains. “This project allows us to experience it as a found object in space, to explore its vast open spaces and swoop the ridges and valleys of its craters.”

Lunatick will run from 5th – 25th April at The Store X, 180 The Strand. Book your tickets here and see visitor details below.

Dates: 5 April – 25 April
Times: Tuesday- Sunday / 10am -6pm
Address: The Store X, 180 Strand, London WC2R 1EA
Admission fee: £5
