Anastasia Kristensen returns to Houndstooth for new EP, Volshebno

Combining elements of jungle, breakbeat, and UK techno.

DJ and producer Anastasia Kristensen is releasing a new EP, titled Volshebno, via Houndstooth this September.

The record takes its name from the Russian word for ‘magical’, as Kristensen explains: “It’s that feeling inside when you know something special is happening.”

Across Volshebno’s three tracks, Kristensen connects the dots between jungle, breakbeat and UK techno.

The EP marks her first release since 2019’s M A X I M A, which also came via Houndstooth.
