A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and composer Adrian Younge releasing debut album on 2xLP

With guest appearances from Luther Vandross, Digable Planets’ Ladybug Mecca, CeeLo Green, Raphael Saadiq and more.

Collaborative duo The Midnight Hour, aka A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, are releasing their debut album this June.

Five years in the making, Muhammad and Shaheed’s 20-track, self-titled 2xLP includes guest appearances by Luther Vandross, Digable Planets’ Ladybug Mecca, CeeLo Green, and Raphael Saadiq.

Its first single, ‘Questions’, is a “completed” version of ‘Untitled 06 | 06.30.2014.’, which appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s 2014 Untitled Unmastered LP.

Though The Midnight Hour album marks the duo’s debut under this moniker, Muhammad and Younge previously collaborated on the original score for Luke Cage in 2016.
