A new exhibition charting the rise of acid house called Sweet Harmony Rave | Today is opening at London’s Saatchi Gallery this July.

Director Philly Adams and co-curator Kobi Prempeh enlisted a panel including Craig Richards, Sheryl Harratt and Agnes Bliah to create the exhibition.

Sweet Harmony will showcase audio-visual works alongside written accounts, photos, live music events, lectures and discussions.

Featured artists include Ewen Spencer, Carsten Nicolai, Jeremy Deller, Weirdcore, Seana Gavin, Tom Hunter, Vinca Petersen, Ted Polhemus, Dave Swindells and Mattko.

The exhibition also follows Jeremy Deller’s exploration of pagan mysticism and rave culture, WILTSHIRE B4 CHRIST, earlier this year.

Sweet Harmony is open from 12th July – 14th September at Saatchi Gallery.
