It’s a London thing.

Amidst a record breaking heatwave, Notting Hill Carnival – Europe’s biggest street party – returned for its 53rd instalment.

So too did Benji B’s Deviation x Killerwatt sound system, a Carnival affair that started over a decade ago via Monday night parties thrown at Paradise Pub, before launching as a street sound system in 2016.

This year Deviation x Killerwatt set-up live and direct on Sunday, from St. Luke’s Road in Ladbroke Grove.

Spanning from reggae, jungle and grime to soul, garage, house and more, Benji B and Judah hosted a stage with sets from Chloedees, Seb Chew, DJ Zinc, Tommy Gold & Skinny Macho, Kele Le Roc (LIVE PA), Benji Flow (LIVE PA) Fauzia, Martelo, and Lil Silva.

Watch a film capturing the day above, and check out Benji B’s Carnival Comedown show for Radio 1 here, with two hours of tunes from the day.
