Behind the scenes in the VF Studio with Nozinja

From Limpopo to London, South African Shangaan Electro pioneer Nozinja spent a week at The VF Studio at the Doug Aitken’s Station To Station this month.

Joined by a trio of London’s finest producers and musicians Mumdance, Micachu and Tirzah, Nozinja cut two new tracks during the residency, which have been pressed to limited edition 12″ vinyl complete with individually screen-printed artwork.

We went behind the scenes to get a glimpse of the studio alchemy of one of dance music’s most vibrant exponents and witness the creative process in action.
