The top 20 vinyl record sleeves of 2014

Just thirteen of these made it out of Firecracker’s die-cut lab for a beautiful release that avoids gimmicks in favour of high quality production values and that home-made touch the label pursue as standard. The pictures speak for themselves with this one, especially if you don’t want to get bogged down in the business of disseminating which layers of the inner/outer sleeve/insert are screen-printed and which aren’t. However, the detail we love most is that each of the 13 copies has been hand-pock-marked for one-off ‘swiss cheese hack’ effect.  Even the five colour variants of the standard 10” blow our socks off just a little.
