Full DJ sets straight from the Phonica basement.

With enough time gone by to recover from the madness of Phonica Records’ Record Store Day 2024 party, VF is sharing full recordings of each of the event’s DJ sets over the next week so we can all relive the magic.

Our first batch of sets comes from DJ, producer and former graffiti artist Richard Sen, and rising dance duo Make A Dance.

Kick your weekend off with the sets below and check out Phonica’s round-up of the event here.

Richard Sen

Kicking off Phonica’s basement party, Richard Sen–the esteemed DJ, compilation curator and DO!!YOU!! host–set the temperature with a set of groove-heavy numbers across the electronic spectrum as well as unreleased material from his upcoming project. A steady, head-nodding pace to get the early dancers moving.

Make A Dance

Stepping up the energy levels, DJ duo and label heads Make A Dance brought an all-vinyl set of house bangers. Packed with euphoric, upbeat dancefloor slabs, Make A Dance’s set got the floor going with their good-time selects.
