CVO
The Wilderness
(Balance, 1996)

Technically a Balance release but we’ll bend the rules because Cajual were partners in crime. Balance (like parent label Prescription) was setup by Chez Damier and Ron Trent and operated out of the Cajual office. Balance records in particular had close ties with Cajual who manufactured and distributed their releases.  Glenn Underground, here with his more techy/ambient but still jazzy alter-ego CVO (Chicago’s Very Own), worked closely with both Cajual and Balance and this is perhaps his most elegant production for either label.
