Hard-as-nails.

Following the recent release of So Low, a compilation of early ‘80s synth, industrial and cold wave gems curated by Optimo’s JD Twitch, The Vinyl Factory is releasing a remix EP featuring rising UK producer Powell and Hamburg’s Helena Hauff.

Powell’s pneumatic sound is perfectly suited to the clank of 1980’s ‘49 Second Romance’ by German minimalists P1/E, which he deftly deconstructs into a hammering reworking.

Meanwhile on the B-side, Helena Hauff adds glistening synths to Belgian electro-industrial group The Klinik’s ‘Moving Hands’ for a driving, nocturnal version.

Head to the VF Shop to buy the So Low comp and to pre-order So Low Remixes, which drops on March 18.
