First pictures of The Vinyl Factory’s era-spanning visual history of Massive Attack.
A year in the making, The Vinyl Factory are proud to at last announce the publication of 3D and the art of Massive Attack, a 400-page special edition retrospective collecting over 25 years of work by Massive Attack co-founder and artist Robert Del Naja aka 3D.

From the graffiti and stencil art of the 80′s Wild Bunch era to the modern day and the recent collaboration with filmmaker Adam Curtis, the collection sets familiar work from the band’s iconic back-catalogue alongside new and unseen pieces from 3D’s personal archive.
Individually hand-signed and numbered in ink still fresh from yesterday’s signing, each limited edition will contain a unique print by 3D, a copy of the 12″ x 12″ hardback book housed in a 3D-designed heavyweight box and a special 12″ single with a previously unreleased track backed by an etching on the b-side. Limited to just 350 copies, 3D and the art of Massive Attack is in stock and available to order from our online shop here.
For those of you who’ve been following developments, you’ll know that 3D and the art of Massive Attack was first announced in the autumn of 2013 and in the first instance we’d like to apologise for the delay in reaching this point. Since then however, we’ve been working tirelessly with Robert to hold the box set to both The Vinyl Factory and Robert Del Naja’s exacting standards and capture the essence of the band’s iconoclastic impact of the UK music scene.
So, without any further hold up, scroll down to see the first pictures of 3D and the art of Massive Attack. We hope you’ll agree that it’s been worth the wait.
