Legendary Swedish metal band Meshuggah have announced 25 Years of Musical Deviance, a 17xLP vinyl box set that traces their storied career.
Limited to 1,000 units worldwide, don’t expect this one to hang around. The monster set collects seven albums plus three LPs across seventeen “ultra clear” 180g records. The records come backed with brand new artwork, all housed within an embossed box with 3D cover art.
As Exclaim point out, original pressings of these albums are known to command pretty hefty sums on the second hand market.
In what appears to be the definitive package for Meshuggah fans, the release includes a chunky 100-page hardcover book with previously unreleased photos, an exclusive slipmat and a blu-ray disc of music videos and never-before-seen “making of” footage.
Due on 1 July, pre-order and check out the box set contents via Nuclear Blast.
