Stranger Peaks.

Stranger Things might evoke the incredible ’80s filmmaking of Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Wes Craven, John Carpenter and Ridley Scott, but there’s also a touch of David Lynch and Twin Peaks in there with the final episode. (We won’t spoilt it for you.)

The similarities don’t stop there either: both are set small towns, involve missing kids and alternate dimensions. And they both have cracking soundtracks.

Twin Peaksrecently reissued soundtrack by Angelo Badalamenti is the best TV music we’ve ever heard, but Austin band SURVIVE’s score for Stranger Thingsalso out on vinyl – isn’t far behind.
