Sex Pistols

A definitive visual history.

To mark 40 years since the birth of punk and ‘Anarchy in the U.K.’, a new book capturing the career of the band has been announced, Pitchfork reports. Edited by Johan Kugelberg, author Jon Savage, and Sex Pistols archivist Glenn Terry, God Save Sex Pistols features handwritten letters, unseen photographs, fan ephemera, fanzines, and album artwork.

The book will be released as two deluxe editions. The first, a 320-page version, includes a “rubber” slipcase designed by French street artist Zevs, a newsprint companion book with rare press clippings, and a silkscreened print for the event ‘Screen on the Green’. The 500 page ultra deluxe edition includes silkscreen prints by Jamie Reid, Zevs and more.

God Save Sex Pistols is out October 21 via Anthology Editions.
