Deluxe vinyl release of The Music of GTA V announced on Mass Appeal

Rockstar have teamed up with Nas’ imprint Mass Appeal to release The Music of Grand Theft Auto V on six LP vinyl. The deluxe release features the game’s original score, music composed for the game and highlights from the soundtrack.

The box set features all the original music and songs exclusively available in the game, as well as highlights from the soundtrack. Available on six LP vinyl pressed to coloured vinyl, the monster package contains 59 tracks, split into three sets.

The first contains original music composed for the game including a work by Flying Lotus. The second features the game’s original score, written by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No and mixed by DJ Shadow. The final set contains the game’s soundtrack and features a diverse range of acts including Lee “Scratch” Perry, Toro Y Moi, Jai Pauland Yellowman.

As well as 6 LP, the box set includes a full-colour booklet and an exclusive lithograph poster. There is also a CD package that includes three discs along with a branded Grand Theft Auto V gold brick-shaped USB Drive, artwork and poster.

You’ve got to be quick though – each package is limited to 5000 copies. The Music of Grand Theft Auto V will be released on December 9.
