[...] How Britain Got it’s Groove Back! Battered by CDs, MP3s and internet streaming, you would have expected vinyl to be long since dead. So why is the west London factory famous for producing Sgt Pepper, The Dark Side Of The Moon and Tubular Bells back at the top of the charts again? [...]

It is uplifting to witness what is happening these days,- for those of us who never gave up, refused to throw away all our beloved albums through the years when getting hold of a new pickup for your record- player was almost impossible. I shall never forget the day in the late eighties, when entering a music-shop to browse for some music, and all the LPs were gone. Just these tiny boxes containing music with a tincan-like sound, not nice to hold in your hands, no gatefoldsleeve with lyrics to enjoy ( Just these tiny booklets almost impossible to se and read), no cover art to enjoy! What a heavy sadness I was struck by, realizing that I would have to get hold on a cd-player if I still wanted to listen to music.
And here we are: Vinyl is back. It simply was to beautiful to die, and there is still hope for essential values in the world!

Love this story. For almost a decade now i have had friends and family telling me i am mad to won 18,000 records. "whose going to buy them?" and "cd's and mp3's are the in thing" are just 2 quotes that spring to mind. Well friends and family...read this article and then look at my customers from around the globe buying vinyl day in day out because they want to actually own a real piece of music instead of "the disposable throw to the side CD" or the "oops i have deleted my hard drive and lost all my mp3's"
