Almost 50 local and international artists to descend on the nomadic exhibition at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.

Following the success of last year’s “Open Heart Surgery” show at The Vinyl Factory’s 180 The Strand space, The Moving Museum has launched its third residency, pitching up across the Turkish city of Istanbul for a three month programme of production, dialogue and exhibits.

As a founding partner, The Vinyl Factory helped produce a limited nine-LP box set to mark The Moving Museum’s London show, profiling some of the most urgent and important voices in contemporary art from the UK capital, which you can read about in more detail and order from our online shop.

Now, bringing together 36 international and 12 local artists, The Moving Museum will set up base camp at the 1940’s modernist villa Ark Kultur this week, with the first wave of artists ready to transform the space into a communal workspace, photo studio, small exhibition area, and hub of public activity.

The residency is now open with the exhibition planned for 27 October – 15 December. You can find out more from The Moving Museum website here.
