“There is room for a breast or two.”

St. Vincent’s long-awaited Ernie Ball signature guitar line is finally set for release this March. There are many reasons why one would want to use the ‘Digital Witness’ singer’s hardware beyond her innovations to guitar-playing.

As it was reported early last year, the guitar is specifically designed with women’s bodies in mind – it is lighter and has a unique cutout shape which gives, in her own words, “room for a breast or two.”

It also features “an African mahogany body, Ernie Ball Music Man tremolo, gunstock oil and hand-rubbed rosewood neck and fingerboard, St. Vincent inlays, Schaller locking tuners, 5-way pick up selector with custom configuration and 3-mini humbuckers.”

The guitar will come in Stealth Black, Tobacco Burst, Heritage Red and Polaris White (which she modeled on her recent Guitar World cover) and is available for pre-order. The guitar retails for $1899 and will be available on March 3.
