Hear the classic score recorded live by a 64-piece orchestra.

Ocarina Of Time remains a landmark not just for placing the Legend Of Zelda series into 3D, but for Koji Kondo’s unforgettable score. Now iam8Bit have announced Hero Of Time, a vinyl release made with Materia Collective, that recasts Kondo’s score through the 64-piece Slovak National Symphony Orchestra.

The performance is arranged and composed by Eric Buchholz, who was behind both The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony and the recent orchestral tour The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.

Though, the music will not be recorded and pressed until early 2017, but you can get an idea of how it will look already. The 180-gram 2xLP release comes on both purple and green vinyl and features elaborate artwork from artist Ryan Brinkerhoff.
