Kill ‘Em All and Ride The Lightning due in April.

Metallica are to reissue and repackage their first two albums as limited edition deluxe vinyl box sets. Also available on CD and standard vinyl editions, the deluxe sets paint a bigger picture around each record, complete with live recordings, interviews, unreleased material and rare photos.

Originally released in 1983 on Megaforce Records, Kill ‘Em All will includes four vinyl records, five CDs, one DVD, a deluxe book including rare photos and a patch. 1984’s Ride The Lightning also includes four vinyl records, but this time comes with six CDs, one DVD, a book of rare photos, lyrics handwritten by James Hetfield and a set of three posters.

There’s a lot to get your head around so rather than type it all out again, you can peruse the sets in their entirety below, both of which can be pre-ordered here ahead of their release on 15th April. [via Blabbermouth]
