Dan Snaith drops 150 records off at Oxfam Dalston.

It’s not often you get to nip into your local charity shop for a bit of a rummage and come up holding records that once belonged to a musician whose reputation as a crate digger with impeccable taste as good as precedes him as a producer. However, head down to Oxfam in Dalston in the next few days and you might just stumble across a bunch of records from Dan Snaith’s personal connection.

As RA picked up, Caribou and Daphni figurehead Dan Snaith has popped by with a surplus. Here’s hoping he wasn’t just culling all the Al Jarreau from his collection.

Beyond the charity shops, we recently scoped out eight of the capital’s secret record spots. Check them out here and listen to Dan Snaith’s recent 7″-only vinyl mix here.
