Tim Noble and Sue Webster are two married British artists who work as a collaborative duo, and are associated with the post-YBA generation of artists. The duo divide their work into “Light Works” and “Shadow Works”, and are perhaps best known for their shadow sculptures and have work exhibited in major galleries across the world.
The pair have also made no secret of the influence of punk rock in their work as a form of expression, and in 2012 they collaborated with The Vinyl Factory to produce a limited edition vinyl box set Nihilistic Optimistic to accompany their exhibition. Their first major solo show in London since 2006, Nihilistic Optimistic features six large-scale works which build upon the artists’ ongoing investigation into self-portraiture.
Celebrated British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster have collaborated acclaimed punk photographer Dennis Morris to created a gatefold 12″ edition of a spoken word piece to accompany their major London show, Nihilistic Optimistic.
